There is one minor issue that doesn't affect the lens' performance-during re-assembly after cleaning, the helical focusing threads were started at a different point than original(if you've ever disassembled helical eyepieces, you'll know what I mean) This made the original white and red focusing reference dots off by approximately two marks-new dots were made in the correct locations. This has absolutely no effect on the lens' use or performance, only where the"0" reference point is on the focusing dial. I will offer a three-day inspection period from day of receipt-if you're not satisfied with the item, contact me within three days to arrange a return/refund. NO delamination, scratches or chips on optical surfaces. 18mm field number. This is a very nice lens, that I have personally used for several years-if you need one, this is a good choice. There is one minor issue that doesn't affect the lens' performance-during re-assembly after cleaning, the helical focusing threads were started at a different point than original(if you've ever disassembled helical eyepieces, you'll know what I mean) This made the original white and red focusing reference dots off by approximately two marks-new dots were made in the correct locations. This has absolutely no effect on the lens' use or performance, only where ... morethe"0" reference point is on the focusing dial. This is a Zeiss ultra high resolution S-KPL 10x/18 Wide Angle High Eyepoint Ocular or Eyepiece for use with all Zeiss objective lenses and is especially tuned for use with the Planapochromat lenses. They only come in fixed configuration. No focusing lenses with this series. Was made for use with the color camera systems but immediately desired as visual eyepieces as well. Use with the planapochromats even better than with the KPL eyepieces. I just have this one only but they continue to appear with the MC63 Zeiss camera systems as photo eyepieces. Optically this lens is in perfect condition with no blemishes and no decementing whatsoever. You are bidding on a Leitz Wetzlar 10X/ 18 Periplan Pol Focusing Eyeypiece The eyepiece is in great shape having only few very minor scratches and some very small dots in the the coating that can only be seen with a loupe. Images are not affected by these blemishes and one cannot tell that they are there when viewing through the eyepiece. The eyepiece has a cross hair reticle with a 10mm scale accross it devided into 50 parts. There is a small amount of dust on the reticle. The eyepiece has a 3mm centering tab on the side.
