If it was been used, it was not used very much if at all. This phase contrast condenser has phase 10. 20, 40, and 100 stops as well as an open stop(0) for brightfield. It is listed as model U-PCD2 only because that is the manual that was with the condenser. It may NOT be a model U-PCD2 model and on page 6 of the manual it refers to a DF setting on the turret which this condenser does not have. There are no markings on the condenser to indicate model number. The original wooden box has the top veneer that is lifting from the surface as shown in the picture. Otherwise it is in good shape.
