The eyepiece is a 10x Widefield and has some paint lost. The Objective 40x 0.65 has some discoloration on the metal. All the items are in working order. It has a 25mm diameter thread in order to accommodate the annular condenser assembly concentric with the central objective. The objective should only be used with the'Neo' type nosepiece- the standard nosepiece has an RMS thread which is closer to 20mm. The objective is also unsuited for use with the later style infinity tubelength vertical illuminators. The objective probably dates from the early to mid-1970's.
