Components are as follows: JDS Uniphase 4W infrared laser diode with fiber optic port, mounted to a copper heat spreader, on top of a TEC(thermoelectric cooler) a heat sink and cooling fan. Also included are a 2.5 amp Wavelength Electronics Laser diode driver, and a thermoelectric controller. There is a thermistor mounted on the heat spreader for feedback of the laser temperature. I have tested the parts individually, but not as a system. I'm also including all the paperwork I have collected. The fiber needs to be mounted and polished. You need to make friends with a telephone fiber person to get this done. There is also a.025 fiberglass rod mounted to the top of the diode housing for stiffening the fiber. This is the flash lamp to my high energy Nd:yag laser rod in the other listing. The arc length is 4 inches and the lamp is 1/4 inch diameter. It is used but is gas intact and in working order. This lamp will want 900 to 1500V at 100 to 300uF with a nice hot 15 to 20KV trigger pulse. The output of this lamp is extremely bright with a cerium UV filter glass. This is a Staco Model 1520 variable transformer- 250 VAC/ 9.5 AMP from a project that didn't happen. The Staco unit was wired into a control panel for running a Tesla or similar from standard house 250 VAC. The final wiring has been left non-connected for insurance and liability reasons. It is designed to run(2) banks of 15 KVAC/ 60 MA NST tranys or quad banks. A wee bit past their limit into a common rectifier multiplier bank. Each bank is fully fused and switched with indicator lamps. The brushes and overall unit are in excellent condition- everything works as far as we know and can test. Great unit for whatever and it ships with a simple wooden frame for support. the unit is sold as is with no returns due to it's intended use.
