Welcome to my auction! Good luck to all! Here is an IPG Fiber Laser PYL-5000M-1060 single mode. Raman/industrial laser. This unit came from Lockheed Martin's R&D division. If you look at the pictures you will see that they upgraded the diodes inside for more power and stability. IPG's laser diodes are good for 100,000 hours! Even though the output fiber is cut, there is plenty of excess fiber inside the unit for you to pull out and re-spice/connectorize to your application. The unit is being sold as is because I do not have the means to test the unit out. But it was removed from a active and working environment and was simply replaced when Lockheed upgraded their entire division. Good luck all bidders! This listing is for a quantity of three IPG YLM single mode fiber laser modules. Date codes between Dec 2011 and July 2014. Yes thats not a typo, 2014! Two units are YLM 650 units(650w spec) and one is a YLM 700(700w spec) All three are single mode. All are water cooled. Please note these are OEM modules intended to be incorporated into a finished laser product. You will have to either supply the lasers with 70v DC and use the IPG interface to command the laser on and off via the internal diode driver, or supply your own diode driver, as well as provide your own beam delivery optics. These three modules can be used as stand alone units, or have their output coupled into ... morean off the shelf fiber combiner from IPG or a third party, to combine the output of these three lasers into one source. Combiners that have an output fiber as small as 50 microns are available from third parties and are compatible with the output fiber on these units. 2kw out of 50 microns will cut roughly 1" mild steel! These lasers use the most advanced technology available. Diode drive current and voltage is only 24a at 70v(28a at EOL) Thats 41.6% wall plug efficiency for 700w output! You could run one of these modules off of a car battery and cut 5/8" mild steel with the output! I will consider breaking the lot down and selling individual units. But rather sell as a lot.
