I think it's mad e mainly of aluminum with a glass dome lens. I really don't know much about it. But it seems like it would be a good one to convert into a regular 110 table lamp, ceiling, or wall fixture. It's pictured sitting on a roll of tape. There's a little piece on the side at the bottom that sticks down just enough to be in the way. It has 2 rivets that could be drilled out if you want to remove it. Not including that piece it measures about 12 1/2" tall. About 4 1/2" across at the bottom and nearly 9" across at it's widest point. It has scuffs. Scraches, use-wear, and some speckles of spray paint on and around the red tag. I have another one. If this one does well I may offer it to the highest bidder at the same price(high bid each) if that buyer wants a pair. It weighs around 10 lbs. unpacked. This is a vintage drafting/ desk light lamp from the 1950's or 1960's and it work. It uses 2 18" fluorescent lamps; 15 volt each. It is completely adjustable and is extremely well built. It may be a Dazor. But I am not positive. The 2 lamps are brand new as I have just installed them. There is the general wear from the many years of use, but overall it is in very good shape. Recommend new bulbs with any purchase of used fixtures as metal halide fixtures are not designed to run bulbs to failure like incandecents or cfls can. Use these for indoor growing or greenhouse growing. As well as shop lights or garage lights. These are not designed for outdoor use. You wire these in, plenty of simple diagrams online on how to do so. Metal halide bulbs contain mercury and must be disposed of properly.
