Manufacturer is unknown, however, the design is similar to II-VI Infrared for the same part. The laser mirror was previously utilized on a high power CO2 laser for metal cutting. It has a reflective gold plated surface. The gold plated surface can be seen in the outdoor photos reflecting the clouds. And in the indoor photo it shows the minor imperfections. This coated mirror can be utilized for any laser that is reflected by gold, including CO2, YAG, fiber laser, ruby laser, erbium laser, and others. The Controller is fully functional and runs Dynamark 2 software. The laser does not seem to work. Info from my technitian: My final conclusion is there is a failure in the sealed laser tubes. The lasers are 20w and run at 72v so they should draw 0.277 amps. I checked the resistance in the tubes and got 71.2 ohms on first laser and 0.4 ohms on the second one. Based on my math they should be at 260 ohms give or take. So with that said they are shorted out internally and might need the tubes replaced or rebuilt and it is currently beyond my ability to fix. Coherent FieldMax II TOP Laser & Power Energy Meter - FieldMaxII-TOP - No Sensor
This is a Coherent FieldMaxII-TOP Laser and Energy Power Meter. These are used to measure laser output with the use of external sensors. There are no sensors included with this item. They will need to be obtained seperately. Unit is in very good condition with light signs of use. It powers on perfectly and the display appears to be in great shape. The backlight is also working. When the unit is powered on, it displays"2.10" on the display which I imagine is the firmware/software level of the unit itself. I connected the unit to my PC after installing the FieldMax software and it was properly detected. I wasn't able to test much further as I don't have any sensors/etc. A sensor is required for this unit to operate properly. The unit has a sticker on the back showing it was last calibrated in 2008. Please note that this unit ... moreincludes a rechargeable battery; the battery is used therefore there are no guarantees on battery life or longevity. During my testing the battery was able to hold a charge and operate the unit on battery power alone. Although no long term testing was done. The unit will also accept(6) standard AA batteries(not included) for operation as well. No software is included. Software can be downloaded directly from Coherent's website using the link below.
