You are looking at a very RARE 4.95 mW GREEN HeNe laser tube from a Lightwave Research(now High End Systems) Viper Laser System. The tube is in MINT condition and has very low hours on it. I am changing the system to brighter diodes so that is why I am parting with this rare gem. Auctin is for the tube only. Includes HeNe power connector with leads. A very cool feature of this unit is that it has dual output. The laser beam is emitted from both ends of the tube so 2 X laser beams! The unit is rated at 4.95 mW and should be about that amount. I purchased this locally at an estate sale and had wanted to experiment with time lapse photography but never got around to it. The laser module is 5mW as shown on the laser module label in the photos. The system consists of a controller and a laser module. I had played around with some of the preprogrammed patterns(see photos) There is a copy of the manual and it looks like some keypad programming of patterns is possible. I don't know how much flexibility there is with this. The controller unit is 19" wide rack mountable, 3-1/2" high and about 7-1/4" deep(laser module is shown sitting on top of the controller in the photos so you can get a size reference) Laser light color is green. Looking inside at the mirrors I see some dust inside ... moreas shown. I have not tried to use this with audio and I have not tried to program the unit so sold as-is(it does run.
