This Helium Neon laser is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical(as far as I can tell) condition. I can’t find any flaws or marks worth mentioning unless we start getting into microscopic inspections. A sturdy mounting bracket is included. I am also including a“Coherent” Laser power supply as well as an accompanying“Laser Drive” power supply. Which has the correct connector. These two are connected and work in tandem to power the laser. This power supply works perfectly but it will require a standard computer power cord which you can find almost anywhere. I just don’t have one to spare. I mean, I have one but I can’t spare it. This sweet laser is fully operational and is guaranteed to fire up. It takes a minute or so for the beam to coalesce after the power supply is plugged in. After that. It just gets stronger up to 15 milliwatts. I know ... morethe picture of the laser beam on a piece of white paper makes the beam look kind of washed-out and lame. But, actually, it's an extremely bright red tight beam. My photography skills just leave something to be desired. This is a nice German-made laser and worth every penny I'm asking for it.

This is my LAST ONE! It is a high power gold laser diodes that was in a miniature precision welding machine. I upgraded to the 50W version. So this part is no longer needed. It fits the Optec Mini 2000-25w precision microwelder. 25W at 835nm. It is a used good spare. It takes about 2.3V at 25A to operate and makes an industrial strength burning laser beam out of the lens on the end. The lens is removable to use on other similar laser diodes. These lasers are very hard to find with the lens still attached. See my other listing for the laser delivery fiber optic cable for the remote version. Up for auction is a Coherent FAP-81-18c-800-B high power laser diode. Part of the Coherent FAP-B model line. Designed for 18W of output at 800nm. This diode uses an SMA connector for coupling to a fiber. The diode is mounted to a TEC with thermistors for monitoring the temperature of both sides of the TEC. This unit was removed from a machine in working condition. It has been stored with the anode and cathode grounded out to prevent static damage and stored in an ESD protected bag. Perfect working condition! Guaranteed not DOA! This is one of those high power Coherent FAP laser diodes that was in a miniature precision welding machine. The diode was used as a spare. and has very low usage. It fits the Optec Mini 2000-30w precision microwelder. 30W at 808nm. It takes about 2.0V at 30A to operate and makes an industrial strength burning laser beam out of the lens on the end. The lens is removable to use on other similar laser diodes. Oh, you could also use this diode to repair an agfa plate setter as long as the diode it uses is less than 1W and has the ST style fiber connector. It even comes with a coupler/generder bender! This is the primary collimator assembly from a high end DPSS micro welder engraver. This optic collimates the beam from a FAP laser diode. It turns the flashlight like output of these modules into a laser pointer like beam which was then focused onto a DPSS crystal. The lens diameter is about 3/4 inch. Focal length is about 1.5 inches, and the collimated output beam is about 1/2 inch. I have other optical parts from the dpss laser set up on ebay as well. This is a lot of two 1W 835nm laser diodes. Both diodes are useful for tests and experimentation. But have mechanical problems that prevent their use in an industrial plate setter machine: As follows; one has the pin that is tied to the case broken with a fiber that is coupled to a ST style fiber connector, this diode should have the anode directly tied to the case using a mounting screw. The other diode has the ST connector is missing, output is directly from the fiber itself. Both diodes are tested to function well electrically and optically.
