This is one small 5W Laakman/ Synrad carbon dioxide laser tube that has been tested and working. It would be fine for engraving or other uses. Laakman Synrad is as good as it gets for sealed CO2 lasers. Both lasers have service lives measured in tens of thousands of hours! The Controller is fully functional and runs Dynamark 2 software. The laser does not seem to work. Info from my technitian: My final conclusion is there is a failure in the sealed laser tubes. The lasers are 20w and run at 72v so they should draw 0.277 amps. I checked the resistance in the tubes and got 71.2 ohms on first laser and 0.4 ohms on the second one. Based on my math they should be at 260 ohms give or take. So with that said they are shorted out internally and might need the tubes replaced or rebuilt and it is currently beyond my ability to fix. Carbon Dioxide CO2 Cutting Laser Engraver Tube High Power RF Excited Domino
This is a CO2 laser tube in nearly new condition. The laser tube needs a 12V 27MHz RF signal at 7W of power to drive the FET's gate. And 28V at up to 5A to run. It outputs about 12W of power at 10.6um. One neat feature is that the tube can be powered by a CB linear amplifier, allowing you to key the mike and hear what you say in the mike being burned into the target. This tube was originally for a DDC-3 laser coding machine. If you need this it could be a great deal. I have lots of lasers and other unique tech stuff for sale this week.
