For sale is a Metrologic model ML800 hard-seal helium neon laser. This is an actual laser. It. And other models like it, were commonly found in school science labs in the 80s and 90s. This model is meant for"Student use, demonstrations" according to the manual, which can be found. You can read additional specs on that manual. As well. I have NO IDEA how much life it has left, but I do know that it currently operates and it was manufactured in 1992. There is a company making Metrologic's designs nowadays, and a new example of this model retails for $390.As expected, it does show some signs of wear but no major damage or abuse.

Metrologic ML-620 Red Helium Neon (HeNe) Laser Unit
This is a Metrologic ML-620 self-contained red helium neon(HeNe) laser and power supply. It is being sold for parts or repair as it is non-functional. This unit was working when I got it a number of years ago. But it has been in storage for years, and when I turned it on, it no longer functioned. I suspect that the laser tube has gone bad rather than the power supply. It should be an easy fix. I have not opened this up to attempt any repairs as I don’t have a replacement tube to try. I believe that it uses one of the small 6” or so HeNe laser tubes. It is very clean, and shows no damage. CONDITIONS OF SALE: 1. The rear end cap of the laser contains two connectors through which signals can be fed from microphones(crystal type) Tape recorders, signal generators, television cameras, etc. to the laser. The laser is in good condition though the"Danger Laser" label is missing from the top(see the tape where it used to be) and some small flat magnets were attached to the bottom to help secure the laser on a metal surface.
