What is offered is- Laser Head. Laser power supply, 220 vac power cable and coax cable to connect power supply to laser head. There is no other controller. The laser was working when removed from service and it was putting out over 150 watts- but I can't test it right now with out controller. All the warranty seals are in place and it has been stored in sealed box. Because I can't test it, I am selling it as is, but I know it works- I used it. This is a used Laser Alignment Device in good condition. The LAD is a tool made of ABS plastic with an inexpensive laser installed in the center. It is a 2" inside diameter cap that fits over plastic pipe or can be adapted up or down in dimension as needed by each application. The 2" cap has a laser installed in the center to produce a laser dot which will owrk as a plumb bob for vertical markings(up or down) or horizontal markings for straight line drilling of holes. Some uses are for drilling water lines through floor joists or for drain lines. It can be used for vent lines needed to go through roofs without plumb bobbing. Electricians can use the LAD to show where to drill holes for conduit masts or to drill holes for conduit run through sidewall studs or floor joists. It is also used to set light fixtures on flat and cathedral ... moreceilings. HVAC applicatios can use it to locate where to put holes out of roofs for B vent or plastic 90% vent pipes through side walls or roofs. They can also use it for drilling holes for black iron gas pipe or can used it for locating hangers for overhead duct work. JDS Uniphase 2012 Argon Ion Laser System : 2212 Head & 2112P Power Supply
This air-cooled argon ion laser system was removed from a functional genetic analyzer. It was tested as shown in the photos with the power supply remote connector interlock shorted(pins 1 to 3) and a power level potentiometer added to allow beam intensity adjustment. Beam was well collimated and bright and intensity was properly controllable via the potentiometer. Laser head is model 2212-10MLMA and the Uniphase power supply is model PS-2112P-10MLA. Uniphase Diode Pumped Self Q-switched Nd:Yag laser 1064nm 532nm 355nm UV Green
This is a nice uniphase nanolaser head. It makes IR 1064nm that is converted to green 532 and then converted to 355nm. It is a small passively q-switched. Frequency trippled DPSS laser. 355nm is a common wavelength used for biomedical research, it can make about 5mw averge power at this wavelength. If desired this UV laser can be reverted to green(200mw average power) or IR at nearly 500mw average power. The real beauty is that it is a high energy pulsed beam with peak power on the order of 4KW peak per pulse, while this won't cut through stuff at the low average power the high peak power is good for ablating stuff on the micro scale. IR Laser Module(S/N# R21282) with 2 photo diode detectors and connector block. The Intelite Module is about 2.125 inches long X 0.5 inches in diameter. It has 2 cables exiting the rear of the module, one has red and black wires(power) the other has a shielded yellow wire(modulation) This is a class 3b laser it has greater than 5mW but less than 50mW peak power(somewhere) in the 1100– 1600nm wavelength and features modulation per markings on the label. The 2 photo diodes have housings that are about 1.032 inches long X 1.0 inches in diameter. The diodes have an approximately 0.25 inch diameter window with an approximately 0.125” square photo diode chip inside and the active area appears ... moreto be about 0.125 inches in diameter. These 2 diode detectors have wires(2 on one unit, 3 on the other unit) that come out of the rear of the housing and connect to the 15-pin connector along with the modulation and supply wires for the laser diode. Pulled from working equipment. Laser head is the heart of the Quantronix Hawk laser system. the rod is in perfect condition and actually appears new. The laser diodes are also in excellent condition. All diodes function and I tested the unit@ low power to verify all emitters do function perfectly. FAC lenses are mounted to the diodes for best power focus to the rod. you will get 2 complete laser heads with rods and one set of pump diodes.
