I don't know whether this unit works because I don't have any probes to test it with. But it powers on and the eye tube shines green. The original instruction manual is included. It's in excellent cosmetic condition with only very light general wear. The cord and plug are in safe operating condition. All of the knobs and the dials appears to move as they should and the unit has no visible damages. The unit measures 11 1/4 in. X 5 1/2 in. and stands about 8 1/2 in. tall including the handle.
