You are bidding on one used but fully tested Fluke 6011A Synthesizer. I am also providing an AC cord and a hardcopy of the test data. Nothing else is included in this auction. This 6011A has 2 Factory Options installed: 02 Phase Lock Input-05 IEEE 488 GPIB This 6011A and its modules have been disassembled for cleaning and inspection then everything put back together for test and calibration. Inside everything is super clean. There is no dust or corrosion anywhere. The Cabinet, rear panel and feet have all been cleaned up as well. While the front panel was apart I took the opportunity to clean every button, the silkscreened panel and the display filter. The display filter does have a small scrape across its very rightmost end but, other than that, the appearance of this unit is exceptionally nice and clean. The fan runs nice and have I installed ... morea new permanent fan filter while I was at it. You won’t find another 6011A tested to this level and it’s certain to be a nice looking addition to your test bench. If I did not already have three of them I would keep it. This is a Fluke 6010A Synthesized Signal Generator. Covering 10 Hz to 10.99999 MHz in two overlapping bands. This has Option 02, the Phase Lock Input also. AM modulation is available using an external audio frequency. The keyboard can be used to select frequency, or the concentric knobs can be used. There are 10 memories to store frequency, units, output level, high or low range, and AM modulation. This would be perfect for checking filter bandpass response at audio or I.F. frequencies. Remote control operation is also possible(not GPIB however) I will include the Fluke 6010A operating and service manual on CD. The only flaw is damage(a crack) to the handle on the back right side- you can see in the pictures where someone attempted to glue it back together. It's also missing the back-left handle. Besides that. There's just some sticker residue and similar minor, superficial issues. In addition to generating a continuous wave(pure sine wave) It offers AM and FM modulation. I have checked the unit out with my personnel Rubidium controlled Counter. Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer and it is a lab grade functional unit as depicted in the pictures. This ancillary equipment is depicted only to show the Synthesizer output and not included in this sale. The Synthesizer has a carrier frequency range of 100 KHz to 1050 MHz with a frequency resolution of 10 ... moreHz. Its output amplitude is leveled and variable from +13 to-127 dBm in 0.1 dB steps. Aligning and selling a large group of Fluke 6070A and 6071A Generators. These generators have been sold along with the one on my test bench. The majority of my repairs were basic alignment and the switching power supply. A couple of modules were installed and later removed during troubleshooting, but none were ever used- they were great insurance policy. The relays can be heard clicking as the output power is increased or decreased. All front panel buttons seem to respond as expected. And tested special function codes work(e.g. Deviation meter code goes to correct setting- but don't know if the deviation meter works) Could be as simple as an internal fuse for all I know. This signal generator has CW. Sweep, AM and FM capability and performs great at 250 MHz and above. The error code 0120 means: Mod/Divider test failed and Amplitude Modulation test failed. Below 250Mhz there is no output. You can see that above 250 MHz the unit functions well and harmonic levels are better than 50db down.
