Precision E-200C Signal Generator. Refurbished, Calibrated, Guaranteed Unlike nearly every other signal generator sold on e-bay. Which are“as is, dirty, untested, or sold by somebody who says, I don’t know anything about this equipment, this instrument has been completely refurbished, re-calibrated and is fully guaranteed to work perfectly right out of the box. The case was re-painted. The knobs were replaced. The output connectors were changed to the modern BNC type. All the capacitors were replaced and the unit was re-calibrated on all bands against a Hewlett-Packard 5328A frequency counter. It comes with a very clean reproduction copy of the original manual(with schematics) See the photos. The only thing that is not near-perfect is the carrying handle which shows signs of its age. The handle still works OK. However. As of the day this ... moreinstrument was listed on e-bay there were two other E-200C generators listed. Both were untested. As-is, dirty, not guaranteed or all of these. This instrument is perfect for the radio man who needs a good reliable signal generator that can be used without fixing it first. The manufacturer specified that the dial accuracy of this instrument is within 1% But did not specify 1% OF WHAT. There is a big difference between 1% of the indicated frequency on the dial and 1% of the full scale range. The percentage of indicated frequency is far tighter and more accurate than the percentage of full scale range. In calibrating this generator against a Hewlett-Packard frequency counter, it was set to an accuracy within 1% of the actual dial setting on all frequency bands except the very highest end of the top three bands. Those are within 3% of dial setting, which is well within 1% of the full-scale range. This instrument is supplied with a calibration data sheet that indicates the accuracy on all ranges. Heathkit IG-102 Signal Generator in Excellent Calibrated Condition This signal generator is guaranteed to work as described or you can return it for a refund of your purchase price. Shipping is not refundable. This Heathkit signal generator is in great well cared for condition. It has been checked out and the Heathkit calibration procedure performed. This generator works like a new one and puts out a stable modulated signal from the AM broadcast band up to 22 MHZ which was the highest frequency I could personally check with my SW receiver. I was able to check the frequency output up to 40 MHZ with my bench counter and it worked perfectly to that range. I am sure it is working up to the 200 MHZ range as it should. But I am unable to positively verify that with my bench equiptment. The chassis is very clean wel constructed without corrosion ... moreor other signs of damage or abuse. The generator is very accurate and I have included a couple of pictures showing its output into an HP counter. All chassis components have been checked out. The tubes were checked and found to be strong. All controls operate perfectly and all pots and switches have been cleaned with contact cleaner. The front panel does have some minimal small markings on a couple of places around the dial but they are very minor. see picture 12) As you can see in the pictures this IG-102 is in great condition and has been well cared for. The knobs and case are in excellent condition as are the power cord and the handle. This generator is very accurate across its range and is linear. Compact, and reliable, a great addition to your bench if you are repairing and maintaining broadcast or Ham receivers. Eico 324 Signal Generator in Excellent Calibrated Condition This Eico signal generator is in excellent condition. It has been completely checked out and the Eico calibration procedure performed. This generator works very well and puts out a stable modulated signal from the AM broadcast band up to 22 MHZ which was the highest frequency I could personally check with my SW receiver. I was able to check the frequency output up to 70 MHZ with my bench counter and it worked perfectly to that range. The generator is very accurate and I have included a few pictures showing its output into an HP counter. The internal 400 HZ modulation works perfectly. All chassis components have been checked out and the tubes were checked and found to be strong. Most of the old paper capacitors have been replaced with new equivalent components. Out of tolerance resistors ... morehave been replaced. All controls operate perfectly and all pots and switches have been cleaned with contact cleaner. The Eico calibration procedure has been performed and this unit is very accurate. The attenuation controls work properly and provide an infinite range of output attenuation. As you can see in the pictures this 324 is in excellent cosmetic condition and looks and works very well. The case has one very minor dent that cannot be seen in the pictures mentioned only for descriptive accuracy. There are no serious scratches. Rust, paint loss or other signs of abuse. There are no names, numbers, or other previous user added etched or painted symbols. The knobs and case are in excellent condition as is the handle. The power cord has been replaced with a newer and safer industrial type cord. The internal components and chassis look very good and the construction is excellent.
