A very good RF Wide Range signal generator for trouble shooting and aligning HF receivers. Broadcast radios, CB radios, and Ham Radio boat anchors. Had this signal generator for more than 15 years on my radio bench and it was a very useful and easy to maintain generator. The great thing about this generator is that parts will likely always be available if it needs repair. That's not true for the HP signal generator I now have on the bench. This generators knobs. Meters and lights work as they should. Modulator deck was recapped and tubes recently tested. The generator comes with hard to find adapters, spare fuses, and a spare pilot bulb for the dial. Up for auction is a Vintage Military Signal Generator Model TS-510A/U. This came out of an estate of a Ham Radio Enthusiast. All knobs and dials move. Except for the Fine Freq. Adjust knob is broke off, see pics. The only other thing I can see wrong is the crack in the case in the lower RH corner, see pics. I don't have any way to test this so I do not know if it works. Great working signal generator! Used on my bench for last 8 years. Recently tested. Attenuator good on all settings. Output within specs on all bands. Output ranges 10dB steps and a 13 dB vernier provide power settings from +10 dBm to-130 dBm(0.7 volts to 0.07 microvolts) into 50 ohms. There is an auxiliary RF output on the rear suitable for connecting an external digital frequency counter. Cosmetically nice. A handy. Compact RF signal generator. Only known issue is that the long lever part of the range switch knob has broken off. The range can still be switched. But a tighter grip on the knob is obviously required.
