Hewlett Packard 8660B Controller assembly - Functional Fr Defunct 8660B Sig Gen
Hewlett Packard 8660B Controller assembly module removed from HP 8660B synthesized signal generator mainframe. I scrapped the HP8660B mainframe since it needed some repairs and it was taking up too much space. Before I scrapped it I tested the controller and it did power up and the controller section appeared to respond when I depressed the front panel keys and it correctly programmed a 86602B RF plug-in when the complete mainframe was tested a couple of weeks ago. This was the extent of my testing. Please note. The rotary knob worked but was very difficult to turn so I am including another encoder(untested) as a spare. Otherwise, the controller appears to work OK. Because of this problem I am selling this item for parts or repairs per eBay protocol. It is great as a spare if you have a dead one and need parts. I am also throwing in 2 relays ... morefrom the power supply board since they are hard to find and nice spares as well as the HP 08660-60187 HP-IB cable adapter for units that were equipped with HPIB but may be missing the adapter.
