Up for auction is a lightly used Riveter and Rivet Remover Tool. This heavy cast tool is used for removing rivets and install new rivets and riveting them flat. Tool is used on mower sickle bars when replacing damaged teeth. Also included in this auction is 8 new blades and 24 rivets fasteners. One side of this rivet vise punches out rivets once the head is ground off. The other side rounds the new rivet making a tight fit. Anvil is portable so you can take the tool to the field, to the work. Screws are nice and smooth no binding. Anvil punch shows some marks where someone ran it down close to a bolt or something. Lot of 3 Old sickle hay mowing bars. These are all broke short on the head ends. Tail ends look factory. May be good for parts or may only be good for vintage farm display. All 3 are set up for 3 inch wide knives with holes 2 inch on center. 72 inch with ford knives 63 inch with Ford knives. 57 inch has rust pitting and I can't read names on any knives. It is missing some knives also. Rust. Aging, and wear as would be expected on this old of an item. I do not see any serious damage except for being broken short and the missing knives on the 57 inch. IH 6 or 7 foot SICKLE BAR Hay Mow International Harvester head blade section 88"
Sickle hay mowing bar. Several blades are marked with"H" in circle and some say"Made in UK" I am not an expert on farm equipment. Head is marked"IH" in a circle and has numbers"MA139" Pretty sure this is International Harvester. All holes for head mount have a corresponding hole in the bar. The last hole in the head lands on the half hole at end of the bar. Knives are 3 inch wide and 3 1/4 inch long with holes 2 inch on center. The knives run for 6 feet(72 inches) and then with the head attached the unit is 88 1/2 inches long overall. More knife blades probally need to be added since I am fairly sure that this is a 7 foot cut bar. Has a 5/16" hole in top of head knob and a 3/16 hole in side of head knob. Rust. Aging, and wear as would be expected on this old of an item, still sound. I do not see ... moreany serious damage, it probally needs some blades added near/under the head. I am selling an ORIGINAL IHC pull behind chopper mower 78" inch cut. It has the wheels tucked in behind it. And I have the left the hydraulic lift cylinder on it. It has some rust holes but nothing to be concearned about. This was a one owner chopper, I just bought a small farmer estate out and it was part of the estate. Staggered flail rows attached to the drum provide a complete cut. Good mower for trimming the sides of hedges. If a flail were to strike to an immovable object it simply bounces off where other rotary type mowers have a tendancy to grab and throw object. Ideal mower for providing a rough cut to taller grass where contact with loose debris is a possibility and areas where thrown objects could potentially cause damage.
