The front cover reads: JOHN DEERE- DRAWN and INTEGRAL CHISEL PLOWS This original manual is illustrated and has lots of detailed information on the features of these John Deere Plows. Table of Contents at the front lists equipment covered in this catalog as: Drawn 100-150 Series, Drawn 100FH-150FH Series, Drawn 200F Series, Drawn 250 Series, Drawn 450 Series, Integral 100-I Series, Integral 100-IRC Row-Crop Series, Standards, Tools, Rod-Weeder Attachements Other Equipment This catalog has a small notch off the cover around a ring binder hole but is otherwise 100% complete. I've been going thru my dad's life time collection of stuff and came across this poster. Be sure to check out the other John Deere Posters I have up for auction. This is a beautiful reprint of an original John Deere Poster. The original from which this was printed from is close to being approximately 95 years old. It measures 19" x 24" and is printed on 6 ply material. There were only 1.000 of these posters that were reprinted back in very early 1982. It's in excellent shape. The Chattanooga Plow Company was an world leader in plow design and production before the advent of mechanized farming. And its manufactory was once the largest in Chattanooga. The company was founded in 1877 by Newell Sanders, making and selling a plow specifically designed for southern soils and advertised as such expressly in the South. Newell Sanders& Company operated out of an eight-hundred-square-foot building manufacturing plows with castings purchased from Wheland Foundry. By 1881. Sanders and his agents were selling plows in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. Two years later, Sanders, Charles D. Mitchell, George W. Wheland, C. C. Bloomfield, and Judson Buchanan increased the company’s capitalization, and relocated the manufactury to a new, larger location. The business was renamed the Chattanooga Plow Company, with Sanders as first, and Mitchell as secretary and treasurer. The new factory at Carter and Montgomery(now Main) Streets employed approximately three hundred people and covered six acres by 1895. RARE Planet Jr. Antique Double Spoke Wheel Push Cultivator Farm Implement 1919
This is a very cool and hard to find push cultivator from 1919. It is a Planet Jr. I looked into them. I have now seen a few examples. ALL of them were in poor condition. And selling for a lot of money. This one retains a great deal of its original paint. The green, the yellow and red on the attachment mounts.the black on the inner wheels.the logo and lettering are so fantastic. Nice patina. The embossing is all there on the names and model/part numbers. Rolls great. This is the nicest one of these I have seen. This will be disassembled for shipping. I can't believe how good this thing looks for its age. These things were usually used heavily, or at least stored in poor conditions, so they are heavily worn. Very rarely do you see one with some paint left on it. Nice farm colors. Great for use, or display. I am selling an 3pt to 2pt fasthitch compatible bale or pallet fork mover for the back of a tractor. the pallets could be up to 51" or the bale up to 60" wide. It is 47" wide outside to outside of the pallets. The prongs themselves are 3" thick, I just bought this at a sale to resell. As you can see in the photos this item is in good shape are ready to take home and use. I have NO idea who made it! It has 3 holes on the right side to use as part of a 3pt hitch and 1 hole on the left side and 4 holes on top for the top link. The 3pt piece then allows the 2 prongs"fasthitch" to slide into them and then be used, there are 2 bolts one on each side holding them in place. Complete Antique Grist Mill Salvaged from Bent Mountain. VA- as seen on Salvage Dawgs BDS# 750 From Wikipedia Stretton Watermill. 17th-century built operational mill in Cheshire, England. Although the terms"gristmill" or"corn mill" can refer to any mill that grinds grain. The terms were used historically for a local mill where farmers brought their own grain and received back ground meal or flour, minus a percentage called the"miller's toll. Early mills were almost always built and supported by farming communities and the miller received the"miller's toll" in lieu of wages. Most towns and villages had their own mill so that local farmers could easily transport their grain there to be milled. These communities were dependent on their local mill as bread was a staple part of the diet. Classical mill ... moredesigns are usually water powered. McCormick Deering No 6 Horse Drawn Sickle Mower Gear Box Covers
This is a cast iron gear box cover and a sheet metal gear cover for a McCormick Deering# 6 horse drawn mower. The cast iron cover is in great condition and comes with hinge pin. The sheet metal gear cover has some rust out on the the front edge. It comes with its mounting brackets and bolts and nuts. The rusted out area could be cut off and would not be noticeable due to the fact that it wraps around underneath the large gear. The rest of it is in solid shape. Both pieces are covered in surface rust and I have made no attempt to clean them up.

I do not know much about this piece so please ask questions as I will be happy to supply more photos and answers. The back story is that my father was a collector of railroadiana. As it was nostalgia from his days as a Gandy Dancer during the summers of his college years. Our next door neighbor was a switch yard Engineer for C&NW and he would bring old scrap pieces home to my Dad until the neighbor died in the mid 1960's. That is how we came into possession of some of the rail pieces we have online. The Patina on the whistle is original. It has not been touched with a brush or any polishing agents. This Whistle has no arm or aperture for activating it, it my have at one time, but long before we(my family) got it, that hole was closed with a plug. The whistle looks like it was activated fruther down the steam line that fed it. Anti Gopher Spreader / Injector Implement - One Qwner
This is another colorful and useful piece of equipment that still funtions as it did decades ago. The man identifying the piece told me that he remembered using it to poison gophers. They put the treatment liquid in the hopper and pulled it first with a mule then with tractor. The disc opened a trench. Liquid was inserted and the big back roller covered the trench. I could not find any damage to the piece nor serious rust issues. It is on a high land farm in northeast TX. It is strong with very little rust. I do not think it is frozen up but did not hook it up to a tractor- did turn wheels by hand. I am selling these tractors and their equipment for friends and going by their input for condition beyond the obvious. There are five of these tractors(4 Super Cs and a 100) and whatever implements are hooked up to them are included with that tractor. ... moreThere are other parts in the field we can talk about when you are there to pick up. IH memorbilia fire extinguisher
Up for bid is a historic piece of IH memorbilia. From my own research I found that these brass fire extinguishers stamped IH were installed and sold on tractor mounter corn pickers. This one has been used and is empty. It has some wear and tear but overall in decent condition. There are no dents in it. Sorry but no international shipping.
