Here is a Tyler fertilizer spreader it is a 4 ton single spinner 50 ft spread. I hooked it up everything turns and works fine but it could use some attention. It has some rust as it should have since it is a fertilizer spreader I did not see any rusted through spots on the main frame a good sandblasting and painting would do it some good. The bearings at the rear of the of the conveyor are out and should be replaced but it turns and works as it is. The rear bearings on the gate will also need replaced. The drive unit on the spreader works good and engages and disengages as it should. The tires seem to be in good shape. This is the perfect size in my opinion, does require a tractor that is 25-60 HP. This unit has always been stored indoors. The right side wheel sits at a slight angle for some reason, but does not affect the way it operates at all. This is a nice used Bowie Hydro-Mulcher that is in good working order and ready to go to work. It has the optional upgraded demming centrifugal pump and 50 hp CAT Diesel engine. The machine has a 958 gallon liquid capacity. It has an electric hose reel and a couple of nozzles for the turret. The tank is very clean with little to no rust. Pull Behind Fertilizer Spreader, Great for food plots
This is pull behind fertilizer speader. It will hold around 400lbs of fertilizer. It is belt driven. Wth a chain in the bottom to move the fertilizer back to the rear of the speader to be dispensed. It is in good working condition. It is the perfect size for large yards or wild game food plots. I have pulled it with a ATV and UTV and it worked great. We have had it in the family since it was new and no longer use it. I am not sure who it was manufactured by when we got it. This auction is for a A H Mathews Seed Drill pat March 12 1894. The lid of the seed hopper is marked Matthews Seed Drill 1897 Parker& Wood Boston Ma. I believe this was made by the Ames Plow Co Boston Ma. I had one very similar a few mon ths ag o- see last picture) This seeder is VERY RARE and VERY UNIQUE. If you are a collector this would be a great item to put in your collection. It appears to work. But I did not seed with it. Everything turns freely. There are no breaks on the seeder. The handles will not be shipped with the seeder( they are to far gone) There is rust and pitting on the seeder. But is has many years of service left. The seeder will be delivered dis-assembled.
