For our business. We purchased this salt spreader along with a snow plow as a package deal. However, we never used the salt spreader. The motor has never been started. Therefore we are unsure if it even runs. The body is in pretty good condition aside from the paint chipping where surface rust has developed. Once the 10.5 HP Briggs& Stratton motor and other moving parts have been refurbished, this Henderson spreader unit should make for an effective Ice& Snow Controller.

Western 2500 salt spreader w/variable speed control
I have up for auction a total of 3 western 2500 salt spreaders. They were all bought brand new this past season and used approximately 4 times. All have the variable speed control boxes. These units have all been cleaned after each use and sprayed down with Fluid Film to prevent corrosion. I am only getting rid of these due to we use our 2.5 yard xbox spreaders more and since we utilize bulk salt most of the time these are just not the way I need to go.
