I am selling 2 salt spreaders and going to combine to buy 1 larger salt spreader. I am the original owner of these salt spreaders. This spreader is 110% fully operational. The one I have here for sale is a buyers salt dog 2yard shpe2000 salt spreader. Comes with owners manual. 4 ratchet strap hold downs,top screen to keep out clumps, wiring harness, black vinyl tarp that came with it. The controller is the analog style. I would like to keep the controller. It doesn't come with the salt spreader sale. If you wanted the controller I would sell it for $190. I plan on using it for another vbox. late in 2012 I was salting with the spreader and backed up into a parking stall with our 1tom flatbed truck. the bed sticks out farther than the front truck fenders. I switched from reverse ... moreto drive, kept looking in my mirrors and then drove forward. Only to be immediately stopped by a yellow pole that the front corner of my bed caught. As a result, the inertia of the salter moved the salter forward about 6inches and broke off the back 2 legs that had a lip in them to keep it from sliding forward. I had the salter strapped down wrong. I was supposed to have the straps criss crossed when strapped instead of strait down. if I would have read the owners manual it shows how to properly tie it down to prevent this. it doesn't affect the functionality of it. I guarantee it. I have the back 2 legs that broke off that you can have if your handy doing fab work and it really bothered you, you could make legs if you wanted. We continued to use it the rest of last year and all of this winter season. After I did that we probably have ran over 20 loads through it. Like I said we have used it almost 2 full seasons like this, it doesn't affect it at all. There is a vibrator to shake the salt down into the trough if your material is a little damp. There are 2 restrictor stainless steel slide covers that you can adjust to limit how much salt comes out. The spinner stop
