Here is a Loftness mfg. 2 stage snow blower it is 3 point(category 2 hitch) It will probably take a 75 hp tractor to use this one. It takes a 7' 9" path of snow. I know it is the end of snow season and you may not be able to use this for another 9 months but now is the time to buy. I have set an extremely low reserve and you'll buy cheaper now and be all set up for next season's profits. This machine has to be worth at least 25% of it's original cost. I can't just give it away but I have set the buy it now amount lower than this and the reserve amount even cheaper. Just look at the construction of this heavy duty six foot 3 point snow blower and you'll have to be impressed. I'd put it up against Woods. Land Pride and others any day. These are over $7,500 new and this one isn't far from new condition. The auger system and second stage blower spin freely and the upper chute can be controlled from the tractor's seat. An adjustable latch adjusts the chute discharge angle ... moreand a hand crank is made to rotate the chute 340 degrees. The chute sits on ball bearings that could use some grease to rotate easier. These are great for 2 wd. tractors that can't get enough traction for a plow and also great for getting right up to garage doors at those condominium complexes. Bring a trailer. McKee Model 600 Snowblower Description: This thing is an absolute monster! 78" path. 2-stage blower, and heavy! This blower weighs upwards of 2500 lbs, easily. Functionally, everything seems OK- the chains are tight, the PTO and gearboxes turn smoothly and work as they should. There are no problems here! The chute looks to be missing the swivel mechanism, but at this price how could you complain? This blower is a must-have for clearing large open areas- as far as what you'd need to run it. I'd say upwards of 50 horsepower to be safe- the hookups look Category 1 to me, but I'm not sure a smaller machine will have the power to churn heavy snow. Hi. Unit works great. We replaced the governor with a hydraulic ram. All the functions are electro hydraulic. So you can build a cord to the cab of whatever machine your going to use this with and control the RPM and chute direction and chute left or right. This unit weighs about 4400 lbs. I bought it and had it shipped from New York 4 years ago on ebay. I used it on the front of a giant dump truck I had at the time. I no longer have the dump truck. I tried to mount it on the front bucket of my Michigan 125, but the bucket and wheels are 9 feet wide and the blower is only 8 feet wide. I use a different blower now and have no use for this unit. Engine runs smooth at even high rpm, and all the chains and sprockets are in good shape. Unit does need to be modified to fit your equipment. As mentioned before, we replaced the governor with hydraulic ... morecontrol. You may wish to change that back. The reason we changed it in the first place was the governor on this machine let go. We tossed it. The top of the chute unbolts and the chute will lower left or right to just under 6 feet in height. As such, the unit measures right at 8'x6'x6' and I believe it weighed 4500 lbs when I had it shipped here. We can load it onto any carrier you wish to use for free. If you are handy and want to move some snow, this machine won't be able to be beat, espescially when you look at the other tinney units you can see here. All Plate construction. Thrower paddles have huge thick wear plates which don't show much use. The augers look great and don't show much wear either. Needs a little work, and some TLC, and your in business. Priced right. This came off a Ford 7710 tractor I bought from a local town parks division. Looks to be a pretty heavy duty unit. It doesn't seem to have very much wear and typical of town equipment was well maintained(the tractor only had 2000 hrs on it) It works properly. It comes with the mounting brackets. The pto gearbox unit, and the shaft that runs under the tractor. See pics) Has hyd. chute. Your tractor will need two remotes( 1 for picking up and down& 1 for the chute) Not sure what other tractors it will fit. Sicard Snow Master Jr Snowblower Fully functional, Works Great
For your consideration. Is a 1968 Sicard Snow Master Jr. Snow blower. This is a fully functional unit that we have owned for about 4 years. The truck is powered by a Chrysler 265A flathead 6 cylinder gas engine backed with a 4 speed manual trans. The blower is powered by a Allis Chalmers 11000 series diesel engine. Both are in very good running condition. The tires are in fair condition with some signs of dry rot. We're upgrading this unit to a newer larger unit, so time for a new home. It has been stored indoors since we've owned it. There is very little rust on this unit, and the paint is in very good condition. Lettering will be removed for new owner, but impressions may remain. Included in the sale is the owners manual. Sicard is still being made, and most parts for this model can still be found. One major repair we did have to ... moremake, was a new custom made exhaust manifold. The only thing it could use is a good carb cleaning, as sometimes it can be fussy to start. Both side window glass are cracked, but still function. This snowblower is being sold in as condition with no warranty.
