Hi there. Up for auction is a really nice Landpride 48" slice seeder. This unit was used very little and not at all the past two years. This is the perfect size in my opinion, does require a tractor that is 25-60 HP. This unit has always been stored indoors. It had a little surface rust that was sanded and painted, with some new decals. It does come with the pto shaft. The right side wheel sits at a slight angle for some reason, but does not affect the way it operates at all. I try to describe all of my items the way I would want someone to do for me, including all the imperfections/issues. This is a used unit that will have scratches and some light rust here and there. Landpride 16' FINISH MOWER 2008 Batwing Wing Rotary Cutter Wide Area Golf gang
The LandPride AFM4016 mower was purchased new in 2008. It was a left over and the paint was a little faded. It has been a great mower and has not been used commercially at all. I used it to cut about 20 acres with it every 7-10 days. With the dry season during the summer it ends up being used about 8- 10 mowing a year. Or about 30 hrs a year at first- then the last 3 years it has not been used very much at all. So it has less than 200 hrs on it. For a extra heavy duty mower that is very low hours. It is stored inside the equipment barn about 80% of the time. A lot of Golf courses love this mower because of the very fast blade speed 18.000 and large tires. The AFM4016 is their heavy duty finish mower with a 8 ga deck. I pull it with my kubota and it cuts great. I replaced one belt last year and put new ultra high lift blades on it(I have new ... morebelts for the other 2 decks that will go with the mower) I had to bent over the metal partition between the middle blade and one side blade because the ultra high lift blades would hit it. The mower is too big for my land now because I have planted over 500 trees on my land now. The photos were taken today May 19. 2013. The Kubota tractor is not part of this Auction only the LandPride AFM4016 is for sale. I can load at my end if needed. If you want me to deliver- it will cost $1.50 a loaded mile using mapquest but you will be responsible for unloading at your end. I will not take Paypal for the full amount. LandPride Finish Mower 90" 7 1/2' 3-pt Side Discharge Land Pride
This is a 3 point hitch finish mower. It is in very good working condition. There are no issues with the mower other than some scratches. It is a very high quality built mower. It runs very smoothly. With the hitch lifted and the mower not in the grass. When the pto is engaged it sounds like a large fan running; no squeaks or rattles at all. The drive belt is in good shape. The blades are in good shape and still do a lawn mower quality job. It has a 7 1/2' cut width so it can cover ground quickly. I have used it on a tractor with 33 pto hp and it does excellent. One of the tires leaks air slowly. I am not sure of the weight of the mower but I would say it weighs between 600 and 800 lbs. It is available for pickup only. For sale is a lightly used 5ft Landpride landscape rake LR1560 model. I bought this unit to redo my yard and have not used it for over a year. The tires are in fine condition and all teeth on the rake are in place. The only thing that is imperfect is that the metal rod that is used to support the rake when not attached to the tractor is bent. I drove away while it was in the down position. I purchased this mower from our local school district. They no longer used it due to contracting out the mowing at the school. Surprisingly for setting outside. I couldn't believe how good the paint was on the mower. I put four new tubes in the tires and replaced the gear oil. I was told the gear box was brand new and that they only used it a couple of times before not mowing anymore. I do not know the year of the mower and they couldn't remember when they bought it. After cleaning it up, I hooked it up to my little tractor and it mowed fantastic. It mows better then the belly mower on my Kubota. This is the only fault I know of with this mower. Never really been a big deal. But want to mention it. I am finished with this cutter. I actually bought it to reclaim some pastureland at our old home place. I have pulled it with 3 different Ford tractors. A 5610. 6610, and a 7710. It worked well behind all 3 of these tractors. This unit needs a couple of the rollers and the blades sharpened but is in overall good shape. The gearboxes are in good shape and the cylinders work properly and do not leak.
