Altec hydraulic auger drive motor for digger derrick crane
You are viewing a used hydraulic drive auger motor that I removed in good working order from a Altec brand digger derrick. It was used by a electric company to dig holes for utility poles. It comes with the hoses shown in the photos. It also comes with the mounting bolt you use to attach it to the arm on the digger derrick. But one end of the bolt has bad threads. It had a nut on both ends, we have in the past welded the nut on one end and just slide it in from the other side. That is what this bolt needs if you plan to use it. The output shaft of the drive motor is six sided and is two inches across. This is a single speed motor. If you want to use it on a digger derrick truck that has the optional two speed auger drive. We have used a single speed on them before, you just have to plug off the small third line coming out of the boom that ... moreactivates a two speed auger motor. This drive motor came from an electric company that takes these drive motors and builds a heavier mounting bracket on them. Even on a brand new truck before they ever use it. They do an excellent job and in my opinion are better built than new ones. You can see in the photos that the top of the unit is hex shaped instead of the rounded type they usually are. I have sold several of these in the past to guys that use them on skidloaders. Backhoes, and excavators. They work great for that, you just have to build a mounting plate to attach them to whatever machine you plan to use them on. These are really well built and in good condition. I have three of them for sale. You can buy one or more. They all three are basically the same, one of them has a differnt type of teeth and has a slightly thicker wall to the barrel, but they all are in very good condition. They have replaceable teeth- two of them have bullet type rotating teeth. And one has more of a splitter type tooth. This listing is for a Bobcat Model 30 Auger Motor Eaton 157 0010 003 other numbers on the pump are 3026 F. Auger hex shaft broke a few years back and I'm selling off parts to the unit. Note i ran this pump today hooked up to my bobcat and the pump and Drive shaft turned like it should since this is not a seal unit as the Auger housing is missing it did leak out some Hydraulic fluid so i'm unsure if that the only problem or if there's another issue so your buying with this knowledge NO CRACKS OR BREAKS IN ANY OF THE MOTOR HOUSING These parts are sold as is I've priced this pump at BOBCAT of Cincinnati and there cost was $ 3090.00 Below is a few part numbers of some of the parts included.
