64 in long Kelly bar - auger extension for Pengo Altec digger derrick crane
You are viewing a used auger extension or Kelly bar that was used along with an auger to dig holes for electric poles. It is in good condition. It is 64 inches long. The bar part is 2 1/2 inches across and t he six sided hole where it attaches to a hydraulic drive motor is 2 3/4 inches across. This extension bar is in good condition and is very heavy duty. Check out my other listings for other augers. Drive motors, digger derrick crane parts, and bucket truck parts. I can ship this out on a double length pallet. This auction is for one of the two pictured 20" inch diameter Pengo Core Drilling Barrels. Each of these barrel style augers has bullet teeth on the end of the barrel. We used the barrel augers on some large holes here on the property and it worked great. The great thing about these Pengo brand augers is that you can get replacement wear parts for them. The entire Core Drilling Barrel depth is: 20" Inches Long. Each has a 3" inch diameter four sided square hole where you attach it to a hydraulic drive motor or a Kelly Bar extension. Altec Auger, Digger Motor & Kelly Bar
For sale is the Auger. Hydraulic Digger Motor, Kelly bar and universal hanger assembly. I have been told this is a 10.000 ft-lb unit. This was removed from the derrick of a large digger-derrick truck that had engine failure. The truck is not for sale. Only the digger parts that came from the boom in the photos. I will list more photos and details before auction end. We will Ship by Motor Freight! This unit is located at Platteville. Wisconsin 53818 near Madison, Wis and Dubuque, Iowa. Freight costs can be quoted or local pick up is OK. I don't know how to make the freight calculator work on ebay. I notice other similar units on ebay ship for around $250 for a 500 mile radius. This auger was removed from a Telelect Commander III digger derrick. I was a lineman for many years and dug many holes and this auger doesn't look to have dug many. At least none with much rock. Fresh paint. If you purchase this auger, I can help find shipping and will load at no cost to you, but will not pay for shipping. Price a new 30" auger and you will pay $4,500.00
