Altec hydraulic auger drive motor for digger derrick crane
You are viewing a used hydraulic drive auger motor that I removed in good working order from a Altec brand digger derrick. It was used by a electric company to dig holes for utility poles. It comes with the hoses shown in the photos. It also comes with the mounting bolt you use to attach it to the arm on the digger derrick. But one end of the bolt has bad threads. It had a nut on both ends, we have in the past welded the nut on one end and just slide it in from the other side. That is what this bolt needs if you plan to use it. The output shaft of the drive motor is six sided and is two inches across. This is a single speed motor. If you want to use it on a digger derrick truck that has the optional two speed auger drive. We have used a single speed on them before, you just have to plug off the small third line coming out of the boom that ... moreactivates a two speed auger motor. This drive motor came from an electric company that takes these drive motors and builds a heavier mounting bracket on them. Even on a brand new truck before they ever use it. They do an excellent job and in my opinion are better built than new ones. You can see in the photos that the top of the unit is hex shaped instead of the rounded type they usually are. I have sold several of these in the past to guys that use them on skidloaders. Backhoes, and excavators. They work great for that, you just have to build a mounting plate to attach them to whatever machine you plan to use them on. This listing is for a Bobcat Model 30 Auger Motor Eaton 157 0010 003 other numbers on the pump are 3026 F. Auger hex shaft broke a few years back and I'm selling off parts to the unit. Bobcat30C Hydraulic Auger Attachment
For sale is a used Bobcat 30C hydraulic auger attachment. I have repainted the unit as it was sitting outside and had started to fade. This auction includes the bobcat quick attach plate. The hydraulic power head set up for a round bit. The hex part sheared off, but I have seen plenty of adapters on eBay for cheap if you have hex bits. It also includes the piece that attaches the auger head to the quick attach plate or an excavator. The hoses are approximately 8' long with standard hydraulic quick connections. The auger has been tested for functions. Forward and reverse functions both work. There are no leaks. The hoses are a little rough. Some metal showing through the rubber, but the hoses and quick connects do not leak either. A couple of grease fittings are gone but they can be replaced. Ship zip code is 32065. Mccabe-Powers Earth Master Hydraulic Auger Head With Two Augers
This is a McCabe powers Earth Master hydraulic digger head off a boom truck. It is a vs-2 series. The serial number is 120051. It's tin by a speedy vickers hydraulic motor. Includes a shortened 2" Kelley bar and two augers with rock bits. The smaller auger needs two rock bits replaced, they are missing the larger auger has all the rock bits in place. This unit is overall in good condition. It isn't new and therefore doesn't look like new. It worked when the truck it was on was parked a year and a half ago. Flannegan Western Truck Mounted Knuckle Boom Crane & Hydraulic Auger Attachment
I am offering for sale a truck mounted knuckle boom crane with hydraulic auger attachment. This truck mounted crane was configured to drill sign post. And lift signs into position on a 1 ton sign truck. The boom fully extended is 15 feet. The auger has 6 inch bit. The controls are not with this unit, it was PTO powered hydraulics and ran several items on the truck. When placed on a flatbed utility bed, or a custom mount the boom could lift up to 20 feet. It doesn't have a spec plate so I have no knowledge of the lifting capacity, but would suspect it to be at least 1000 lbs. The hydraulic auger has double acting cylinders so it is able to dig with down pressure, and even into rock with a rock bit installed. This unit is nice and has no repairs done to it. Nothing has ever been broken and rewelded. I also think this would make a great ... morefence post drilling rig as well, or post hole drilling rig for pole barns. 8" inch 12' foot hydraulic drive short grain auger to empty center dump
Hooked it up tonight and it ran and is quiet no bearings squeaking or anything. It isn't shiny and new but not rusted out. It does not have wheels but slides ok. One of the pipe fittings is a bit chewed up because I had to use a pipe wrench to get enough bite to change fittings to test it. but A) it is not the threads so still works. And B can easily replace hose or get a new one crimped on if you like. hoses show some age but are not falling apart or leaking( note that I didn't have under load though, just empty) We used to use it mainly to run grain through a drum separator which I plan to check out and post tomorrow. Both will be listed as pickup only but if you make freight arrangements I can load on open truck or semi trailer. Will consider delivering for a fee if not too far.
