Yetter Seed Jet II bulk seed tote handler - blows seed to fill drill or planter
You are viewing a Yetter seed jet seed conveyor I have for sale. It is in excellent condition and has not been used very much. It has been stored inside. These consist of a steel frame that holds plastic totes filled with seed you get from the seed companies. This one holds three totes. It has a latch system to hold the totes in place. I carried the machine on a flatbed trailer as you can see in the first photo- the trailer is NOT included! Other folks carry it on the back of a flatbed truck or use it stationary on the ground. There is a 11 horsepower Briggs and Stratton engine mounted to a air blower with a rotary air lock that slides on rails under the framework. You can slide it under which ever tote you want to pull seed from. And then you pull a lever to raise up a flexible funnel that fits under the tote to catch the seeds as they come ... moreout the slide gate on the bottom of the tote. There is a long hose that carries the seed to whatever you are filling with seed. The hose has a switch on the end to turn on and off the seed flow. It all works good and is ready to use. I used it last year to fill a drill with beans and again in the fall to fill the drill with wheat. My no-till drill has a real high catwalk on the back where you fill it and this machine sure was nice to use because you only had to climb up and down once each time you filled it and no hoisting of bags! It comes with a plastic rotary dust remover thing that fits on the end of the hose that also has a bracket so you can hook it onto the side of the drill box to hold it in place. But I just used it without it as the stuff I was blowing was not dusty at all. The hose has a cut off blue jean pant leg that works just right to slow the seed down easily as it exits the hose. The engine has electric start and everything works good on it. The battery on it is getting old and will need to be replaced. The whole thing works great. SnowEx pivot pro 1075 salt spreader. You are bidding on a working unit. It has recently been totally disassembled and painted with rust inhibiting primer and hammered gloss black paint. When reassembling. All the hardware was completely replaced with 100% stainless. The motor and gear box assembly(pictured with and without the custom aluminum cover removed) were cleaned, re-greased and reassembled. It's not as quiet as a new one but when tested it operates fine both freewheeling and under load. The inside cab controller is included and works perfectly when bench tested with a battery and connected to the spreader. I will supply the wire that was with the spreader when I got it. Some sort of electrical plug connection from the spreader to truck will need to be obtained separately if not using the supplied wire nuts. I will also include ... moresome extra used nuts and bolts that may be helpful when installing the brackets to most pick-up truck bed rails. Please see the many pictures provided. A friend asked me to sell this for him. It is a AccuSpread 3 point hitch hydraulic spreader. He received it as a payment for some work he did. I do not know much about them. Other than they are a very well built piece of equipment. Please look at the pictures and if you have any questions just email me. This is quite heavy. I would guess about 300 to 400 lbs. It has 2 hydraulic motors 1 turns a bar in the bottom of the hopper and the other turns an impeller on the outside of the hopper. Please look at my feedback. I have a Boss salter TGS1100 that comes complete with in cab controller and frame to go under the rear of your truck. Its capacity is 11 cubic feet. Which is about 8 50#bags of salt I think. The framework has a hitch built into it so that you do not need a separate hitch to be able to pull trailers with. There currently is a Karrier vibrator installed on the back of the the spreader that made it possible for us to be able to spread bulk salt. The vibrator has a separate switch to be able to turn it on if you wanted to. The vibrator does not come with the spreader. But I will include it for $100 more or if you choose the buy it now price I will include the vibrator. There is an inverted v that our dealer installed years ago to help minimize the down pressure that the bulk salt would put onto the screw auger in the middle. This lifts off and ... moreonto the truck mount with some 12volt power, like a jump pac or a cordless drill battery. There used to be a switch on it that you could flip it up or down and the legs would go up or down. The switch went bad and so we just used a jump pac to give it 12volt power to engage the legs. This way has worked fine for 2years. you can put a switch on it if you want to. We got a new linear actuator(the motor that raises and lowers the legs) about 2 years ago. Boss said we must have gotten water into the old one, so when we put on our new one we silicone up the joint in the linear actuator. The spreader itself needs a new motor itself. The whole motor/transmission assembly from Boss is $400 if you wanted to buy the combo then your spreader mechanicals would be brand spankin new and you would be guaranteed years of trouble free operation. The top screen/bag splitter inside comes with the sale, but the bag of salt that we had stored in the bottom does not come with the sale. Come out and take a look at the spreader. Test it out. As a result, the inertia of the salter moved the salter forward about 6inches and broke off the back 2 legs that had a lip in them to keep it from sliding forward. I had the salter strapped down wrong. I was supposed to have the straps criss crossed when strapped instead of strait down. if I would have read the owners manual it shows how to properly tie it down to prevent this. it doesn't affect the functionality of it. I guarantee it. I have the back 2 legs that broke off that you can have if your handy doing fab work and it really bothered you, you could make legs if you wanted. We continued to use it the rest of last year and all of this winter season. After I did that we probably have ran over 20 loads through it. Like I said we have used it almost 2 full seasons like this, it doesn't affect it at all. There is a vibrator to shake the salt down into the trough if your material is a little damp.
