Very hard to find. Original old iron John Deere Wheels like these. Have JD part numbers on axle, hub, and round iron wheel. The two large wheels are 36 inches in diameter and the flat rim is 4 inches wide with a axle hole of 4 inches. The two smaller wheels are 30 inches in diameter and rim is 2 1/2 inches wide with a axle of 1 1/4 inches wide. They are in very good condition. I just got them out of a barn and have not even cleaned them up. They are all straight and good and no repairs. Freighting is a option, I may be going to far eastern Ky. and into North Carolina soon if that is a option to meet someone. Pick Up is always good.I will probably have on the listing Tuesday, what these may have came off of, I know a man that can look part number up if they are not out of date on his book. Antique Check Row Planter Wire Coil Old Vintage Agriculture Farming Horse Drawn
This is a fantastic piece of agricultural history! It is a roll of check row planter wire from the horse drawn and early tractor farming era used with a method called"check-row planting. Farmers would stretch a wire like this one across a field. The wire has knots every 40-42 inches. The planter would drop three or four seeds every time it hit a knot in the wire. This created a checkerboard field pattern which they would later cultivate in one direction and then again 90 degrees the other direction. This wire is rusty and corroded/pitted in places. Some of the knots are heavily caked with dirt. The wire is in a coil and we did not uncoil the wire to measure how long it is. Buyer pays postage on a 20 lb package. Antique Harrow wood framing-early 1900’s qty 2
Greetings. I am listing more farm antiques from my grandparent’s farm in central Ohio. Please peruse my listings as there could be other items of interest to you. The items listed have been in storage since the 1970’s and the pictures taken represent the item as we pulled from storage over the past 2 months. I have made no attempt to clean the item. Just some minor brushing to remove the loose debris. Some items are for local pick-up only due to the size and weight of the item. If there are questions you have please feel free to ask. This is an antique Harrow that was used to cultivate fields by means of metal tines that are spaced about 10” apart. I would estimate that the item ... moreis from the very early 1900’s if not the late 1800’s. I did not see any mfg name on the item. The harrow has 5 wooden beams that tie together with metal iron brackets on each side. There is a ratchet style control arm that adjusts the angle and depth of the harrow tines. The overall dimension is 48” by 48” Each tine is about 8” in length. The item is in fair condition. The ends of the wooden beams on one side were exposed to soil during storage so there is wood rot on those ends. The metal is rusty but would move as designed with some cleaning and lubrication. FORD 9N TRACTOR Farmall John Deere International
This is a Ford 9N tractor I cannot read the serial number only some of the numbers so I'm not sure what year it really is. But they only made these from 1939-1942 so obviously it is somewhere in that range. This tractor has a stuck motor as it has been sitting for quite sometime. It came from a local farmer in southern Wisconsin that sold his farm and he was planning to redo this tractor. He bought a new exhaust manifold, new exhaust pipe and clamp, and a gasket kit for the motor I'm thinking, and that all goes with the tractor as you see them in the pictures. It has new front tires on it one new rear rim and the other rims are good and solid. The rear tires are weathered but they do hold air. The transmission seems to work good, it shifts through all the gears. The brakes don't seem to work. This tractor is a complete tractor, ... moreit is all there. It has cast in the seat: IMPERIAL" D 64" CANTON" Not sure if for a tractor or some other farm implement. The seat measures roughly 16 inches by 13-1/2 inches. The seat would be roughly 21 inches off the surface when mounted. It has the mounting arm and base as pictured. The bolt on the base is rusted and you'll need to cut that bolt off. The seat was found in an old barn. Lots of cool surface rust as pictured but the seat is still solid. Use it for display or clean her up and put her back on the IMPERIAL she came off of.
