Vintage cast iron tractor seat implement planter farm metal seat Display Rehab
For sale is a cast iron tractor or implement seat. Could find no makers name on this item. About 17 1/2" across and 13 1/2" top to bottom. Does have some rust and could use more cleaning. There are a couple small hairline cracks by the mounting hole. Otherwise this is a solid metal seat. Will make a great display piece or may be used in a restoration project. This antique cast iron implement seat belonged to my late husband who spent his life as a farm machinery jockey and a farmer. It hung in on the wall of our barn for many years. And it's time to find it a new home! Circa mid-to late 1800's. May be marked in the center. But if so, it's too worn for us to read. This#4 seeder is like others I have had and in average working condition. There appears to have been a repair to the front wheel and you can see in the 5th photo that a small plate has be riveted on the wheel. Looks good and is very solid. It is marked Planet Jr. and#4 on the lid. It looks to be in pretty good condition. Looks to be 100% original. Comes with the mower deck and the front blade. The motor is free and does turn over. 1950's John Deere loader for 2 cylinder tractors PRICE REDUCED!
I believe this is a front end loader for a vintage 2 cylinder John Deere tractor. I am not sure what model it fits. I have looked for numbers but have found no tags. The cylinder rods are rusty and would need to be replaced. All the mount brackets I have are shown in the picture. There is NO bucket to go with it. Any information on what it will fit would be appreciated. I will load for free onto our truck or trailer. John Deere Side Dresser. Cultivator Mount Side Dresser for John Deere M. MT, 40, 420, 430 etc series of tractors. I do not know the exact application of this unit so PLEASE do your homework before bidding/blaming me if it does not fit your tractor. I believe it is designed for the earlier model tractors(M, MT, 40) I bought it to mount on a 430 but it is different than what the manual calls for. Antique Wooden Wheeled John Deere Brodcast Seeder
You are bidding on a very old wooden wheeled Deere Broadcast Seeder. This vintage implement was used to plant wheat and hay seed and was originally pulled by horses. It was called a broadcast seeder because the seed simply dropped out of holes in the bottom of the seed box and fell to the ground. The tongue on this one has been shortened for a tractor at some point. The wooden box is 10' 8" long and the wooden wheels are 40" in diameter. This seeder still works. The mechanical parts have been oiled over the years and the wood is in solid shape. The wheels are a little wobbly but there are no broken spokes. The box lid had a split in the wood and has a vintage repair job. The hinges on the lid appear to have been replaced at some time and may not be the originals. The cast iron ends are beautiful with a large buck deer and the ... morewords Deere Broadcast Seeder around the outer edge of the cast. These seeders begin to appear in John Deere literature around the 1860's and were pretty much replaced by wheat drills by the turn of the century. This is a neat piece of agricultural history. I had planned to restore it. But unfortunately have not had the time and I simply don't have the space to keep it in storage. I am hoping a Deere or agricultural collector will want this to display so that it can be appreciated by others. Winning bidder will need to pick up in Hillsboro, Missouri. It can be hauled on the back of a pick up by simply sliding the wheels off of the axle and laying the box in the bed of the truck. I can assist with loading.

John Deere Wagon Wheel Rare 54" x 2" Very Nice
This wheel is John Deere. Model# 2752. This has been painted with a coat of flat paint. I do have two of these for sale. If you look at my other items. You will find the mate to this one. The only difference is the other one is not painted. These wheels are 54 1/2" tall and 2" wide. They weigh about 75 pounds each. According to my research I was able to find JD started making their own and wagons in 1912. I assume that was also the iron wheels for them. In the 20's JD started making tractors and combines. So using my logic I assume there was a small window for making the wagon wheels much after that. Again. This is only one out of two John Deere Wheels. Please look carefully at pictures.
