Jaeger 3.5 hp hit and miss engine
this is a vintage Jaeger 3 1/2E hit and miss engine serial number on old brass tag 40986.the engine is stuck all the way.no part is free up.one of the flywheels on the right side has had a spoke welded at one time to repair/ there is no crakcs in the block or water resorvour.this is all that I have what you see.we bought a bunch of stuff off a local farm some time back and found this engine under a tree. The owener of the land didn't know where his grandfather had obtained it/ so I am starting the bid at a fair price,if it isn't worth that then I will display it in my antique impliment collection. Old RUN EASY Box Type CORN SHELLER Hand Crank Cast Iron Hit Miss Engine Farm WOW
This is a rather rare box type hand crank corn sheller. It is a"Run Easy Sheller" and is made mostly of cast iron. It mounts to the side of a wooden box with the two bolts in the mounting pad. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns smoothly and everything seems to work as it should. It would shell corn just fine and you could also use it to hull those stubborn walnuts! It needs a spinner or a bolt on the end of the handle but this should be pretty easy. It would be a fine addition to your early agricultural primitive collection or display. It would also look great in your box type corn sheller lineup! I've seen hundreds of box type corn shellers but have never seen a"Run Easy" It will likely be quite a while before another one turns up and it probably won't ... morebe this nice.
