I had my lift arms to low and it hit the shaft. It does not affect the operation of the mower. It has a 10.5 foot cut. Up for sale is a Krone AM 242 disc mower. I used this mower to cut 20 acres for the last few years. Previous owner used it for about the same. I bought this mower knowing some history of it. It's not some wore out piece at the dealer. Now for the specs; it is a 5 disc mower making it little over 7' cut. Having 5 discs it can be pulled with a low hp tractor. I used it on a 45hp with ease. Although 35hp is lowest I'd think would operate it. It doesn't leak any fluid whatsoever. The bearings are very tight with good blades. It's ready to go. I cut about an acre with it last week. Only reason I'm selling is I've taken on more hay ground an bought a bigger tractor and mower. Due to weight local pickup is the only option. I will load on your trailer. I usually mow 25 to 35 acres of good ground a year the skid plates are still like new and the canvas top is rough everyting works perfect and we can hook it up and run it all you want I have used it with a 40 hp tractor but in good hay you need more horse power call 423 802 4115 I can load it for you to pick up at my farm I have set a verry fair price as new ones are now around 10 grand dont miss this one thanks

Deutz Fahr KM22 Drum Hay Mower Three Point Mount Six Foot Cut like disc mower
Listing a Six Foot Cut Deutz Fahr Drum Mower. Three Point Mount. PTO Driven. We used this mower as a backup for our small hay operation if/when our main mower went down. It works great, mows through any type of hay and can be used at a higher speed than most mower conditioners. It needs at least a 50hp tractor to carry/run the mower correctly. The two drums on the bottom of the mower ride across the field while mowing and have easily replaceable small blades. Mower is great for irregular fields or uneven ground. Apologize for the poor picture; have the mower stashed in the corner of the barn but can easily get it out/load it on your trailer.
