Ford 501 Sickle Bar Mower 7 ft Field Ready
This auction is for a used Ford 501 7ft sickle bar mower in excellent working condition. The photos are taken after I just finished mowing my second cutting of hay. The only prep I did for the photos is sweep off the loose hay. I have used this mower for the past 2 yrs to just mow hay. And am selling it because I bought a bigger mower. The mower has been modified slightly to fit a compact tractor. There was a stabilizer bar I had to remove to fit on the 3 point arms of my 28 hp Kubota. I use the stabilizer bar built into the arms of my 3 point. You can use this mower without any stabilizers on your tractor, but you would feel the vibrations of the mower. I have owned several sickle bar mowers. And this one has worked the best.
