It is in absolutely perfect condition and works very erfficiently. These are made by King Kutter out of Winfield Alabama for the Tractor Supply outlet. So they are very heavy duty and will last a lifetime. I am prepared to take a bit of a loss as that's the nature of things but wont go so far as to give it away. I used this on my 23 acre farm. After I sold my big tractor I had no way to pull the big three point mower I have listed in another auction so I purchased this one and used my old International Farmall Super C Also for sale. It does not have a stump jumper on the blades. Laminated solid tail wheel. The blades look in decent condition. The deck seem solid. With a little rust through on the deck frame support(see pictures) Has been repainted in the past. I have not had the time to hook it up to verify the gearbox condition. But it is free. Massey Ferguson MF60 5 Foot Rotary Cutter - Bush Hog
Massey Ferguson MF60 5 foot rotary cutter for three point hitch. Very Heavy Duty! Built like a Tank with t hick steel deck and sides. This is an older unit but still in good condition. Check out the pics. What I know about it: It is rusty. But there are no rusted through spots. The deck is very heavy gauge. The hitch pins have been replace and welded in place(see pics) There is some damage on the shaft housing. But it does not affect operation The gearbox has a minor leak under the deck(see pics) I purchased this cutter about three years ago to use with my Ford 9N tractor. It worked well cutting brush on straight lines. But I wanted to cut some winding paths in the woods and this one was a little heavy to maneuver sharp curves with that small a tractor. Plus, it was all the 9N could do to lift it(I'm guessing it weighs upwards of 1000 ... morelbs) I'm selling it as my Dad bought me a new. Lighter one from tractor supply a couple years ago.
