VINTAGE HP FREQUENCY COUNTER MODEL 5233L
Up for Sale is a Vintage 1970's HP(Hewlett Packard) Model 5233L Frequency Counter. I was able to measure the frequency of a power transformer at 60 Hz. No other testing was performed. I will sell this Frequency Counter for Parts or Repair. But based on this simple test we performed, I believe it to be functional as a frequency counter. The Nixie tubes are probably worth the starting price not to count the various PC Boards inside. The Cooling Fan is operational as well. The only flaw I noticed, is that someone has soldered the power cord wires to the push on power connector. Please review Photos. The next to last photo was of the counter reading a low voltage 60 Hz AC source. The last photo is with the top cover removed. Hi. This sale is for a vintage HP Hewlett Packard Agilent 5382A 225MHz Frequency Counter. I have no idea what it does, but if you're looking at this listing, I'm sure you do! My uncle was a huge ham radio and electronics enthusiast and had a lot of stuff before he passed away a while back. Unit turns on but I don't have the means to test it. However. My uncle generally took good care of his stuff. This item has appears to have been sitting for a while but I'm selling it in working condition with a money-back guarantee. There's some mottling on the outer casing. Some dust, and sticker bubbling on the front faceplate, so she's not exactly the belle of the ball. Also, there's a name lightly engraved on the back.
