Systron Donner Model 6054B Frequency Counter 20HZ to 24GHZ
I have owned this counter for about 12 years. And it spent most of its life with me on the shelf. I deal with frequencies up to 490mhz and this counter was really too much for me. I took it off of the shelf, plugged it in, and it came back working right away. The only thing I did to it was put a little tuner cleaner on the switches. It seems to work fine, as far as I can tell, but I am not really familiar with any frequencies above 490 mhz. I do have an HP83832B, which will genrate a signal up to 20ghz. In the pictures I show the generator at a UHF frequency and at a high microwave frequency, to show you that it seems to work fine. The frequencies of both units do not match, so I would say that the osicllator or generator are a little off freq, but I am not sure of which. I did not adjust the frequency of the counter(the adjustment is no ... morethe back, but I did not want to change it unless I was sure of the base I was using) This is a heavy item and I will pack it well. I have done my best to be totally honest as to the. Condition of this unit. And I will not accept any returns. To the best of my knowledge, it is working, and I will assume it will work when you get it. But, I might warn you, that this unit has some years on it and could have problems in the future. It seems to be built very well and the circuit boards look easy to work on. The power supply is isolated and there is plenty of room to see all the components and do any repairs in the future. I talk negatively only as a disclamer. It certainly seems to be a good unit.

Up for auction a Systron Donner Universal Counter Timer or in short words a frequency conter. I have no manuals for this and found little info on the web about this unit. Has three input ports Port A and B which are BNC type go up to 170 MHz aprox. Port C has a selector switch one position 0.1 to 0.5 GHz and the other from 0.5 to 26 GHz. I was surprised the company wanted to get rid of the unit because it works. Last calibration date was 1994 I estimate it was removed from service about 2002. Unit has IEEE 488 port in rear. The unit also has a built in volt meter with 1V 10V 100V ranges and Trig A and Trig B position. I put a signal generator and it does measure up to 26GHz. Unit not DOA. Buyer pays for shipping.
