As you can see from the photo it is working well with a signal generated by my HP signal generator at 820 Mhz. The agency that auctioned these removed all of the battery packs and didn't even bother to put the battery pack covers back on. You can see from one of the photos that the battery pack cover is missing. They also did not include the power packs or manuals so I had to improvise and locate a power pack that would work. Takes 12 VDC at about 3/4 of an amp. The power pack in the photo will be included. These are great counters and I'm keeping one for myself!

For sale is this recent pull from service. HP-5334A frequency counter which was just acquired from a local defense contractor. It is clean, passes self-test, and provided stable readout of my home lab sig gen for a period of 1 hour. It also has a nice feature where the 10 MHz reference clock can be input or output via rear panel BNC. Other than the functionality mentioned above I cannot verify the calibration or other more specialized functions. This counter while clean does show slight signs of normal use and does have some rub/scuff marks on the covers etc from normal lab use. I purchased several of these counters and the unit you get may or may not be the exact one shown in the photo. But note they are all very similar in looks and operation.
