Sencore Model FC71 Frequency Counter 10 Hz- 1 Ghz I picked up a few of these at an auction. They are great counters with LCD readout and both 50 ohm and 1 megohm inputs. As you can see from the photo it is working well with a signal generated by my HP signal generator at 820 Mhz. The agency that auctioned these removed all of the battery packs and didn't even bother to put the battery pack covers back on. You can see from one of the photos that the battery pack cover is missing. They also did not include the power packs or manuals so I had to improvise and locate a power pack that would work. Takes 12 VDC at about 3/4 of an amp. The power pack in the photo will be included. These are great counters and I'm keeping one for myself!

As you can see from the photos above, it does power up and reads clear! We are including a new, 3 prong power cord with this counter. This unit is used, so cosmetically it has a few scratches and wear spots around the surfaces. It could use a good cleaning! Again, we have not tested this unit past power up, please read below. Has built-in oven type high-stability crystal oscillator timebase and GPIB options installed. Leading digit blanking and user selectable resolution. A keyboard provided for commands and data entry. Very clean and undamaged. It is working properly in all respects. The two empty card slots are for options not installed. The crystal oven has it’s own power supply. And is on anytime the counter is connected to the power line. The cabinet is configured for shelf mounting, with rubber feet and it has no rack handles.
