This is a very nice EIP/ Phase Matrix microwave frequency counter model 548B option 05 and 06. Option 5 adds the high stability ovenized time base. Option 6 adds the wide band input from 26.5– 110 GHz. It also has the GPIB interface port. I have owned and used this counter for a few years; it works very well, it will pass all the self-test routines, it is very stable, sensitive and accurate on all the direct input bands. I do not have the external mixers so have not tested the#4 input but can see no reason that it won’t work as intended. Yellow tagged with an‘A’ condition code. After warm up all readings are erratic and incorrect on bands 2 and 3. Band 1 works fine all the time, and a 10 MHz measurement from a GPS time base can be seen in the second picture. Unit is being sold for parts or repair due to this issue. Physical condition is very good, with some marks and dings from normal use. Unit is very clean with no sticker residue, and top panel instruction stickers are in place. I will include a PDF copy of the users/service manual and a power cord. No other accessories.
