I have tested only the most basic functioning of this unit by supplying channel A with a square-wave signal from a programmable pulse generator as seeen on the oscilloscope screen(none of the other test equipment or cables are included in this auction) Neither the counter for sale in this auction or the pulse generator are calibrated. The 5345 is military surplus that appears to have NEVER BEEN USED so likely new old stock. A set of manuals for it is included- most still in sealed packages. The 5355A is used but tested and working. This allows the 5345 to be used up to 1.5 GHz without accessories and up to 40 GHz with additional converter modules which are not included. A power cord is included. Replacing the venerable 5245L with Nixie Tube displays- for many years the electronic counter standard- the 5345A is also one of the most common and well liked of the many HP Electronic Counters. It can be equipped for operation all the way ... moreto 40GHz or so at not a huge expense. It has 2ns resolution and counts direct to 500MHz without plug-in modules.
