Pound for pound and dollar for dollar the R3XXX series analyzers are among the best in the world- and they don't run Windows so they boot quickly, are very stable, and are easy to program. This item is a beauty, mint 360, and works flawlessly. So buy with confidence from the actual engineers who use it. It was purchased for measuring EMI associated with instrument enclosures we had designed where the threat frequencies of interest went to 3 GHz. After that project it was mostly turned on briefly to check for local noise from a distributed antenna system near ... moreour antenna chamber. The R3132 has EMI filters and the ability to store antenna correction tables. And a preamplifier, so was ideal for our application where low level signal had to be resolved. Before buying the instrument we looked at demos from Agilent and R&S and felt that the R3132 had the most bang for the buck. It has always impressed us as a tough piece of gear.
