Vintage 9/1991, and cost around $15000 new. It can also be called 2467BHD(which Tek would have sold with 4 P6137 probes) The Tek 2467B is the image intensifying version of the 2465B which was the last and best performing(4 channels 400MHz) portable analog scope Tek made(1989-1996) So you can't get any better! The 7B53A Dual Time Base is recommended for use with the 7400. 7500, 7600 and Storage FAMILIES to provide bandwidth/sweep speed compatibility. It is in good cosmetic and electrical condition. Please examine photos to see stickers, sticker residue, and minor scratches. Please notice that the calibration seals are undisturbed. The last photo shows the time base powered up and operational. Installed in a 7904 oscilloscope along with an 7B50A Time Base, which is separately listed for sale. This sale is only for the 7B53A, none of the other equipment in the last photo is included in the sale. Please find below some technical information about the 7B53A: Sweep Rate- 0.05 μs/div to 5 s/div in 25 steps(1-2-5 sequence) 5 ns/div is the fastest calibrated sweep rate. Obtained with the X10 MAGNIFIER. The uncalibrated VARIABLE is continuous between steps ... moreand to 12.5 s/div. The variable control is internally switchable between main, delayed sweep and variable main sweep holdoff. The Dual Time Base features four sweep display modes. Which is unusual for the Tektronix time base models: Normal, Intensified Delaying, Delayed and Mixed. Normal Sweep(nondelayed) is selected when the DLY'D TIME/DIV switch is pushed in and set to the same sweep rate as the TIME/DIV switch. The switches will latch in this mode. Intensified Delaying Sweep is accomplished by pulling out the DELAYED SWEEP TIME/DIV knob. The delaying(main) sweep is intensified for a period of time determined by the delayed sweep setting. The intensified zone may be initiated at any point on the delaying sweep determined by the DELAY TIME MULT(DTM) The DELAYING and DELAYED TIME/DIV controls can be independently set. $10 BIN gets you the Tek IC 165-2393-00 which is very similar to 155-0237-00 U600 vertical out IC used in 24_ scopes. These are used. But still good. Tek made these as 1 product off 1 fab line and labeled them with 1 of 2 part numbers after testing each for bandwidth as either: part# 155-0237-00 if they passed on the right half of the(Gaussian) bell curve, or as part# 165-2393-00 if they passed on the left side. Roughly speaking, 165-2393-00 will limit a 400MHz scope's bandwidth to about 360MHz, whereas a 155-0237-00 will let it work to around 450MHz. This means there is no reason to have the better one in a 2445, 2445A, or 2445B, but there is good reason to use them in 2465B and 2467B. 2465 and 2465A leave you a choice of little consequence.
