So, even though the original 5370A was built in 1980, it looks like it has been updated to about the 1989 level of production. This unit is a good counter to start with. But really shines in Time Interval mode where it has 20ps single-shot resolution. There are also several math functions, and with averaging even higher resolutions can be obtained.
