The box was sealed, and looked like it was never used. i opened the box, and took pictures. I'm listing and selling as used, because i have no way of knowing its past. after opening the box the plastic was still around the typewriter, and all its packaging is there, but it appears to me that it was opened and sealed back up.it is in good cosmetic condition. I have never used an electric typewriter, so i'm in no way qualified to say its been tested fully. I plugged it in, and turned on the power and it seems to work the way it should. i pressed a few keys, and they functioned properly. i do not know if there is ink in it. the user manual is still in the box.
