Smith Corona PWP 365 Word Processor Work great. Has a brand new floppy drive belt installed. The floppy drive works great. Needs a new ink ribbon as the current one is getting dry and only works some of the time. The correction ribbon is only about 1/4 used. These use 3.5" 720k formatted floppy disks. You can use 1.44mb floppies but they need to be formatted to 720k before you can use them, the word processor can format 1.44mb floppies to 720k for you. I will include 2 brand new 720k formatted floppies with the unit. Screen works very well. The case has a few scuffs on it, mostly on the back where it sat up against the wall as can be seen in the photos but overall is in good shape. Includes the keyboard/screen cover.

Up for bids is a Smith Corona PWP 3700 Personal Word Processor System. It was purchased in 1993 and used until 2000 but has been sitting in a closet since then. The system can be used as a word processor or as a typewriter and the monitor is included. Everything has been tested and works except for the disk drive. When it tries to read a disk you end up getting an error message. You can still use it in word processor mode and view your document on screen but you will have to print it before powering off. The typewriter mode does exactly what it is supposed to do as well as numerous other things that a basic typewriter can't. The overall cosmetic condition of the word processor is good. As you can see from my photos. There is some discoloration of the plastic on the upper part of the typewriter as well as the keyboard cover. The plastic ... moreon the monitor has some light discoloration as well. This type of"yellowing" or"browning" is fairly common with older plastic like this. The only other flaw is a tiny screw missing from the cable that connects the monitor to the typewriter part. The other screw is more than enough to hold it in place and even that is not really needed. All paperwork. Instructions, 3 blank disks, tutorial/address merger, 3 print wheels(orator 10, letter Gothic 10/12, Regency 12) multi strike ribbon and original box included. This Word Processor is in top condition. The only thing I think is missing is the cover in the back that covers the cord. But the cord stays in place without it. I will try to find it before sending it, but can't make any promises. The manual says 1992 and I imagine that is about when I bought it new. I had a new package of two ribbons for it and I, just a couple of weeks ago, put the new tape in it and typed a document when my internet was off. It worked perfectly. I could correct errors before printing it. It comes with one more new ribbon and two manuals. It also has some papers with it that say Supply Order Form and a repair receipt from 1995. I used it until 1997 mainly to fill out scholarship applications for my children.
