Hello everyone. And welcome to another storage find. This is for a Brother AX-450 Electronic Typewriter that was found in a storage locker. When i found it. The box was sealed, and looked like it was never used. i opened the box, and took pictures. I'm listing and selling as used, because i have no way of knowing its past. after opening the box the plastic was still around the typewriter, and all its packaging is there, but it appears to me that it was opened and sealed back up.it is in good cosmetic condition. I have never used an electric typewriter, so i'm in no way qualified to say its been tested fully. I plugged it in, and turned on the power and it seems to work the way it should. i pressed a few keys, and they functioned properly. i do not know if there is ink in it. the user manual is still in the box. The original packaging ... moreis included also. the box is complete with minor scuffs and scrapes, dings and dents. i do not know the date of manufacture. It has been carefully used and well maintained. And stored away the past several years. The last time I can remember using it was fall of 2011. At that time. I changed the ink ribbon cartridge; I wish I had more, but that was the last of the original 1987 vintage ribbons. You can still buy them- on ebay, online, or the more enlightened office supply stores. This listing includes a fresh correction ribbon and a spare font wheel for script font. Which came with the typewriter, but has never been used. This typewriter is easy to use. And is a good teaching typewriter. It has memory of every thing typed for ONE LINE of type only. I tested this typewriter and it works just fine. I even typed the name of the typewriter on one of the pictures I listed. It includes an extra cartridge. Which I bought from a thrift store, that I haven't used. It was opened when I bought it so I cannot guarantee whether it works or not. Presumably. It should work, the film does not appear to have been previously typed on.
