This is an IBM Selectric III correcting typewriter that is in great condition. It has been tested and is fully functional. Some of the number keys stick down a little and return up slowly. Needs a new correcting ribbon. It is pretty quiet when turned on and running. I have not attempted to clean it as to not cause damage. Could probably use oil or standard maintenance but is usable as is. This typewriter has the Letter Gothic type ball. The foam insides have been removed due to deterioration. This is a used item. Up for auction is a used Wheelwriter 3 that is in good physical condition. There are a couple scratches and scuff marks on the casing. But it is otherwise undamaged. Up for auction is this early 1980's IBM Correcting Selectric III. It's quite heavy at 40 pounds. And because of that, I will only be able to ship this typewriter to the lower 48 states. Apologies! This typewriter appears to be in great condition. When plugged in. You can hear it power on, but when striking the keys, nothing happens. So I'm listing this one as for parts or repair.
