Made by Smith Corona for Sears. The body and keys are light tan. Case dark gray. very NICE LOOKING. The cover over the printing mechanism lifts up for access to the ribbons. For cleaning, and to clear jams. It is full-electric; carriage return and advance. As well as keystroke assist. is an about 1970 model. Finger pressure is very light. Like word processors and computer keyboards. The printing mechanism is essentially the same as mechanical typewriters, but delivers consistent pressure to the paper. Print pressure is adjustable for one to ten copies; those were the days! It takes standard 1/2" ribbons. One or two colors. The one in it is black. Printing is still acceptable. The Q key is powered but the linkage to print it does not operate. It has NOT been taken apart or jiggered with. The other keys all print well.
