Condition: Used Location: Heron Lake, United States BUSH HOG ATH-900 FINISH MOWER I purchased this 90” three fixed blade mower in 2006. As a portion of several implements that came with the purchase of ... morea used utility tractor. As I had no immediate need for this mower. I have stored it undercover in my dry machinery shed. I knew the previous owner. And this mower had always been stored under cover since new. The previous owner stated it was used for three seasons. Mowing a 9 acre“front yard” field. The mower has approximately 125 hours of use. And looks in super condition. Now to the bad part… I finally decided I would likely never use this mower. And took it out to prepare it for sale. Upon hooking it up. I discovered it is somehow“locked up” Both outer spindles and both idler pulleys turn freely. However. The center blade will not turn. The PTO shaft turns. But does not transfer power to the main pulley. I have to assume the vertical shaft(pinion shaft) is broken. And/or the bearing frozen on the center blade. Mower is being sold as is. The pictures show the very good condition. It is Cat I. Three point hitch. PTO shaft does not appear to have been shortened. Drive belt is like new. Blades look to have been sharpened two or three times. Air baffles underneath are not bent. The outer deck has two minor bends- shown in the pics. The mower deck itself is straight and true. And has no welds or rust. I’m confident the unit can be repaired. But cannot guarantee cost or time. I think there could be a good buy for someone handy looking for this type of mower…but not willing to pay the $4500 for a new one. Mower includes the original Operator’s Manual and two spare wheels. The mower can be inspected beforehand. I am located half way between Indianapolis and Cincinnati. I can help load the unit. F eel free to ask questions!
