This is a John Deere 350 sickle bar mower. It has a 7' bar. It is catagory 1. 3 point hitch. These mowers are great for mowing around ponds. Under electric fences, around trees, and you can even mow hay with them! This is another one of my outstanding mowers that I've been listing on ebay for 9 years now. I have completely gone through this mower. It runs out quiet and smooth! We've added a video clip of this mower mowing. It requires at least a 30 horse power tractor. Take a look at the video and decide whether it'll work on your tractor. The mower is described in the video. It has a new shield on the PTO shaft. That is for safety's sake. And to keep grass from wrapping up on it, so that you don't have to spend your time getting the grass off the shaft. If you don't believe me, buy one without a shield and cut ... moresome thick grass. It has a new belt. New double guards, new sickle sections(blades) new wear plates, new sickle bar hold down clamps, and a new grassboard(some call it a swathboard, but the folks who make them call them a grassboard) The guards and the shoes are put on with lock nuts. So they won't shake loose. Never put guards or shoes on with regular nuts-they'll come right loose. That is something to watch for on these mowers. A copy of the manual will be included with this mower. These mowers will mow about 70 degrees below horizontal and will mow vertical. I can just claim over 50 years experience with these mowers. Since there is only one of me. I'm 67 years old and started running sickle bars at about age 12, with a side mount on an 8N Ford. I've seen these mowers listed on ebay for $3800.00. I'm going to get out of orbit with my pricing. Don't think there is something wrong with the mower because the price it lower. I want to sell it. Not relist it. John Deere 5' finish mower - model 261 in very good condition
John Deere model 261 5' 3 point finish mower. Works good has always been kept in side. A few marks on the sides from normal use. Overall condition is very good. Includes owners manual and an extra set of blades. This mower is much heavier than most of the ones that are purchased through dealers such as Rural King. Im not sure of the year of manufacture but it has not seen very much use. The original owner said he used it a couple of years on ~1.5 acres then bought a zero turn. I bought it as a package but mainly use a rotary cutter thus only used it a handful of times. The mower is for sale locally also thus the auction may end early. Payment is due in cash at the time of pickup. I will assist with loading.

Green paint, is part no. P2342-H. The 2 prong guard. Green paint, is part no. H-61954. Also there are 5 JD Z5654 Mower blades. Still sharp. The other parts have a mark WI-3 and a Deere Cover Y722. And a one prong guard with no mark. There is surface rust found on these parts, but are all very solid, with no breaks or cracks. Any clean up will be left up to the winner to decide, if desired.
